Poet, author, event curator, educator, and Spirit of Detroit Award recipient Joel Green hosts a spoken word competition. Green was host of Detroit’s iconic Café Mahogany poetry nights and has shared the stage with The Roots, Common, The Last Poets, Ledisi, Big Sean, Wyclef Jean, and more.
